Edna Emory Hudson, 90 of Shelby passed away, Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at
White Oak Manor in Shelby.

Born July 7, 1928 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Rollin
Emory and Janie Wood Emory. She was a member of Hudson Memorial Baptist
Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Thurman
Hudson; a daughter, Diann Chapman; four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include four grandchildren, Amy Sanders and husband, James of
Casar, Tina Hodge and husband, Jamie of Rutherfordton, Joel Chapman and
wife, Sheila of Belwood and Cassandra Chapman of Smithfield; twelve
great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Friday at Hudson Memorial Baptist
Church

A funeral service will be 3:00 PM, Friday at Hudson Memorial Baptist Church
with Rev. Clyde Price officiating.

Burial will follow in Hudson Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery.
