Elizabeth "Betsy" Stevens Watson, age 63, died Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Summit Place in Kings Mountain. Born in Quincy, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Robert Karl Stevens and the late Pauline Forbes Stevens.
Betsy was the light and life of everything she touched. She was always positive and encouraging, funny and insightful, and had a profound love for her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, Betsy is preceded in death by a son, Luke Watson, and her father-in-law, Frank Watson.
Betsy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bill Watson, two daughters, Lindsay Watson of Charlotte and Lauren and Cameron Jenrich of Washington D. C.; a grandson, Lucas Jenrich ; a brother, Bruce Stevens and wife Ivy; two sisters, Jane Warnock and husband Doug, and Paula Limongelli and husband John; mother-in-law, Martha Watson; sister-in-law, Judi Olmstead; brother-in-law, Dick Watson and wife Terri; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 26, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn East, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC, with Jim Brennan officiating.
