Elizabeth “Betty” Degi Kraynak

Elizabeth “Betty” Degi Kraynak, age 94, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away on June 15, 2014 at Oakland Living Center. She was born in Cuyahoga, Ohio on June 15, 1920. She was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen Degi, Sr. and Elizabeth Csender Degi, and by her husband, Frank Kraynak and brother, Stephen Degi, Jr. Betty was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Forest City NC. She was a member of the Prayer Group and The Ladies Guild.
She is survived by several nephews and nieces.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 11:00am at The Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Father Reverend Herbert Burke and Reverend Deacon Andy Cilone officiating. The body will lie in state one hour before the Mass in the church narthex. Interment will take place at the Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church Debt Reduction Fund, 1024 W. Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
