Elizabeth Florence Bell Estes, 79, of 373 Wilbur Street, passed away Monday, May 19th, 2014 at Novant Health Gaffney Medical Center.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the wife of the late Thomas Wilkes Estes and the daughter of the late Mack Lee Bell and Cora Jane Lanier Bell. Mrs. Estes was a homemaker and was a member of Nazareth Baptist Church.

Mrs. Estes is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Ann Estes of the home; one brother, Cecil Bell of Blacksburg; four sisters, Shirley Hardin of Blacksburg, Betty Roach of Piedmont, SC, Patricia Ligon and Brenda Earls, both of Blacksburg. 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 21st, 2014 at 11:00 am at Clingman Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gregg Martin, Rev. Willie Lanier, and Rev. Lucky Earls officiating. Buddy Ligon, Lucky Earls, Michael Bell, Gregg Martin, Tommy Lanier, and Adam Gordon will serve as pallbearers.

The family will be at their respective residences.
