Elizabeth Jones Richard, 75 of Williamson Road, Shelby passed away, Monday,
September 3, 2018.

Born May 22, 1943 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph
Willis Jones and Vangie Carrie Elizabeth Beaver Jones. Elizabeth was
retired from Dover Textiles and Union Elementary School. She was a member
of Union Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph
Willis Jones, Jr. and two sisters, Inez Ashe and Patsy Ledford.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Alfred Wray Richard; two sons,
Kavin Richard and wife, Cathy of Shelby and Eric Richard and wife, Lynn of
Polkville; a daughter, Amy Breen and husband, Mark of Lawndale; four
grandchildren, Lindsay Mays, Casey Hamrick, Sarah Breen and Avery Breen and
five great-grandchildren, Cora, Cole, Ava, Alydia and Carter.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Thursday at Union Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be 6:00 PM, Thursday at Union Baptist Church with
Rev. Michael Shumate officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
