Evelene Dianne Hardin

Blacksburg -- Evelene Dianne Hardin, 80, formerly of 803 West Cherokee Street, passed away Friday, March 30th, 2018, at Mary Black Health System - Gaffney.

Born in Blacksburg, she was the daughter of the late Ben Hardin and Edna Mae Martin Hardin. Ms. Hardin retired as a Seamstress and was a member of Eastside Baptist Church of Blacksburg.

Ms. Hardin is survived by her special companion for many years, Harry Lee Porter. one sister, Jeannie Peterson of Blacksburg; one brother, Jerry Wayne Hardin of Blacksburg; five nephews, Freddie Bullocks, Jerry Wayne Hardin, Jr., Richard Hardin, all of Blacksburg, Jeff Peterson of Gaffney, and Preston Peterson of Blacksburg; three nieces, Mary Ann Reynolds of Blacksburg, Tracie Bright of Gaffney, and Charlene Bullocks Carpenter of Blacksburg and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, JD Hardin, her sisters, Joyce Ann Bullocks and Sandra Mae Martin, and her nephew, Gary Edward Martin.

Cryptside services will be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, at 11:00 am at Clingman Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 1219 East Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC 29702 with Rev. Tim Knotts officiating. The family will receive friends after the services at the mausoleum.

Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 403 West Montgomery Street, Gaffney, SC 29340.

The family will be at their respective residences.
