Faye Jones McNeilly, 86, of Methodist Church Road, Casar, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center in Shelby.
She was born in Cleveland County on December 18, 1927, to the late Marvin Jones and Bertha Parker Jones. She was retired from Valdese Manufacturing Company as a winder after forty years of service. She was also a member of Olive Grove Baptist Church where she was a long time primary Sunday school teacher, and she enjoyed family gatherings and cooking for them.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Stanley McNeilly; two brothers, Elbert Jones and Ray Jones; and sister, Leona Jones Hull.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James O. and Lena Towery McNeilly of Casar and Gary L. and Sue Reynolds McNeilly of Shelby; brother, Zeb Jones of Casar; granddaughter and husband, Jennifer McNeilly Reynolds
and Brett Reynolds of Boiling Springs; two great-grandchildren, Luke and Jake Reynolds.
