Flora Nell Berry Hooper, 77, of Asheville, died Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Care Partners Solace. A native of Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Joshua and Flora Newport Berry. She was a homemaker and attended Oteen Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Anita Lewis and husband Thad of Asheville; sons Roger Cobb of Asheville, Randy Cobb of Taylor, MI, Jeffrey Cobb and wife Thurline of Asheville; stepson Leon Head and wife Judy of Temple, GA; eight grandchildren, five step grandchildren and five great grandchildren; sisters Dotty Davidson of Somerset, KY and Marilyn Gabbard and husband Russell of Lexington, KY.

Funeral services will be held 12PM Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. James Lamb officiating. Interment will be in Mountain Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
