Free Rabies Vaccine Clinic Huge Success

Free Rabies Vaccine Clinic Huge Success
On Saturday, May 3rd, lines of vehicles filled the entrance of Kings Mountain High School during the free rabies vaccination drive through event. Once information was taken, the free shots were administered to the pets while they remained in their cars. It was very safe and extremely efficient. Dr. Teresa Browning, Veterinarian from Cherryville gave the shots. Tripp Bowling, Animal Control Director for the Cleveland County Health Department was well pleased with the huge turnout and said it was the largest they had ever seen in Kings Mountain. Pet owners continued bringing their pets non-stop 8am to 1pm. Citizen donations were greatly appreciated and help keep this free service to pet lovers of Cleveland County. The event also served as an Operation Medicine Drop date.
