Gail Greene Allen, 67 celebrated a reunion with her Lord, Monday July 7, 2014. She was a native of Rutherford County.

   Born October 25, 1946, she was the daughter of the late G.C. and Jeanette Greene. She is survived by her adoring husband of 49 years, Ronny Allen, her daughter Amy Allen Wright and husband Cale, her son Ron Allen and wife Joanna, grandchildren Cole Wright and fiancé Kendall David, Amanda Wright, Trace Allen and Gabriel Allen. A brother Lenord Greene and wife Linda, and many other close friends and loving family members.

   Gail was passionate about helping children and devoted much of her professional career to that effort. She retired from Cleveland County Partnership for Children where she held the position of Director of the More at Four Program. Gail was known for her meek spirit, humility and her beautiful smile. She truly had a heart of a servant and had the desire to serve the least of these. She was a true example of Grace and what it means to be a Christ follower. There is a hole in the hearts of all whose lives she touched, however she is renewed and rejoicing with her Heavenly Father. We can all take great comfort in this.

   Arrangements are as follows: Receiving friends at Cleveland Funeral Services Thursday July 10, 2014, 6-7:30 and Memorial service at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Friday July 11, 2014 at 3:00.
