| Mrs. Gale Dover Wray, 70, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at her home in Rutherfordton, NC. Funeral services were held at Holly Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Wade Huntley and Rev. Billy Boone officiating. Burial was held at Mt Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery, Shelby, NC.
Mrs. Wray was preceded in death by her husband, Marion B. Wray; her parents, Ennis Dover and Lelia Jackson Dover and brothers: Harold Dover and James Dover.
She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church. She worked at the Shelby Shopper as a graphic designer for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Renee Mullinax and her husband Dennis; one son, Kevin Wray and his wife Kay; two sisters: Joyce Mullinax Lee and Sondra Peeler; one brother, Wayne Dover; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
