Vale - Mrs. Georgia DeeVee Gladden Houser, 93 of North Brook III School
Road, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Brian Center in Lincolnton.

Born July 6, 1922 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Will
Gladden and Anna Hartman Gladden. She was a homemaker and was a member of
Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Elton
Houser; daughter-in-law, Loretta Houser; four brothers, Ernest, Edwin, Jack
and Hovis Gladden and two sisters, Edith Mull and Evelona Sain.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Dale Houser of Bessemer City; two
grandchildren, Doyle Houser and significant other, Angel and Darren Houser
and wife, Lynn and four great-grandchildren, Austin, Savannah, Justin and
Jeslyn Houser.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday at Mt. Vernon Baptist
Church

A funeral service will 5:00 PM, Sunday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church with
Rev. Jeremy Mahaffey officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Brook III School Road, Vale, NC 28168.
