Get a 'Taste of Cleveland County' Nov. 30

As you finish up the last of those Thanksgiving leftovers, get ready for a new opportunity to tickle your taste buds. Make plans now to visit the LeGrand Center (1800 E. Marion Street, Shelby) on Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. as 19 local restaurants and caterers showcase their finest cuisine for your tasting pleasure at the 7th annual "Taste of Cleveland County."
"This is an event that people in the community really look forward to each year," says Adrian Hamrick, director of marketing and communications for the Cleveland County Chamber, the sponsor of the event. "It really gives you a chance to taste and enjoy all of the many wonderful food providers that we have in this area."
Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children ages 3-8.
"Your ticket will get you access to all participating vendors' specialty dishes and desserts," says Hamrick.
In addition to the food, entertainment will also be provided, with local schools and churches providing music throughout the evening. The Pinnacle Classical Academy Band is scheduled to perform from 6-6:30 p.m., the Crest Middle School Honors Chorus is scheduled from 6:30-7 p.m., and the Eastside Baptist Church Children's Choir will sing from 7-7:30 p.m.
Food Vendors for the event are Cakes and Bakes, Chen's, Cleveland Country Club, Dressing on the Side, Fatz Cafe, Gateway Brew, Hannah's Coffee House, J Bird's Deli, Jimmy John's, Jo's Florist & Catering, Lily Bean Microroasted Coffee, Newgrass Brewing Co., Ni Fen Kitchen, One of A Kind Cotton Candy, Pleasant City Wood Fired Grille, Shelby Cafe, The String Bean, Toscanos Bistro and Uptown Sweets & Treats.
