Gordon Ray Beal, 62, of 616 Hicks Hill Road, Lawndale, passed away, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.
Born January 5, 1952 in Gaston County, he was the son of the late Gordon Steve Beal and Glenna Juanita Carroll Beal. He was a seafood cook at Mitchem Kitchen and was of the Baptist affiliation.
Survivors include sons; Mark Beal, Gary Beal; brother, John Beal; sister, Kathy Beal of Shelby; and lifetime friend Becky Price.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
Memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel.
Burial will be private.
