Grace Ridings Russ
Grace Ridings Russ, 81, of 4251 Fallston Rd., Shelby passed away Monday, September 22, 2014 at the home of her granddaughter and caregiver, Crystal Russ and Jeramy Earls.

Born September 17, 1933 in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Garland Roosevelt Ridings and Lillie Camp Ridings. She was retired from Cleveland Mills as a knitter and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She
loved to sew and cook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Matthew "Hoss" Russ, one daughter, Rachel Russ, three brothers, Tommy Ridings, Jack Ridings, and Grady Ridings, and one sister, Mary Jean Woods.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Russ and wife, Judy of Kings Mountain, Garland Russ and wife, Haley of Lawndale, two daughters, Sandra Self and husband, Harley of Ellenboro and Wanda Russ of Indiana, nine grandchildren, Clint Russ (Crystal), Dana Russ (Chance), Crystal Russ (Jeramy Earls), Jackie Russ (Holly), Brandi Benton, Traci Johnson, Kristi Johnson, Amanda Self, and Jessica Travioli, twenty great grandchildren, Lucas Earls, Jacob Russ, Mikayla Russ, Katie Prince, Matthew Russ, Chris Russ, Josh Currier, Chelsey Russ, Dylan Hamrick, Hunter Hamrick, Jaylen Johnson, Seanna Ingram, Marina Ruff, Skye Ruff, Beckett Johnson, Maddox Johnson, Braxton Travioli, Kaleb Earls, Matt Earls, and Savannah Earls, three brothers, Forrest Ridings and wife, Robin, Billy Ridings and wife, Delores, and Garland Ridings and wife, Nancy, and one sister, Joyce Teseniar and husband,Don and two sisters-in-law, Joann Ridings and Vera Morrison.

The family would like to express their thanks to Hospice of South Carolina for their care.

Visitation will be at Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center Wednesday from 6:30PM until 8:30PM.

The funeral service will be at Stamey Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel Thursday at 2:00PM with Chaplian Len Byers officiating.

Burial will follow at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Carolina 110 Dillon Drive Spartanburg, SC 29307.
