Mr. Harold Grady Jackson Jr., age 74 of Boiling Springs, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain, NC.
He is survived his longtime girlfriend, Janet Edwards of the home, a daughter, Heather Clary and husband Robert of Shelby, NC, two step-grandchildren, Jacob and Josh Clary, a brother, Tim Jackson and wife Tina of Fuquay-Varina, NC, two sisters, Barbara Crider and husband Tom of Apex, NC, and Angela Waldrop and husband Jeff of Indian Trail, NC, numerous nieces and nephews, and a special dog, "Buddy".
Born April 19, 1943 in Cleveland County, Harold was the son of the late Harold Grady Jackson Sr. and Mae Hardin Jackson and was preceded in death by his step-mother, Evelyn Leigh Jackson and a brother, David Jackson.
Harold was fascinated with airplanes and enjoyed attending air shows. He enjoyed fishing, collecting knives, and spending time with his family and friends. Harold was the kind of person that never met a stranger. He had a great since of humor and will be truly missed by those that knew him.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm, April 18, 2018 at Cleveland Memorial Park conducted by Rev. David Costner.
