Isabelle Johnson Pruett, 88, of 1470 Lawndale Casar Road, Casar, passed away
Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.

Born February 12, 1926 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
Royal Moton Johnson and Dovie Brackett Johnson. She worked for Hudson
Hosiery and Costner Furniture and was a member of Pisgah Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pruett was a member of Casar Chapter #342 Order of the Eastern Star and
the Cleveland County Extension Club.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, David
Lyndon Pruett; two brothers, Clyde Johnson and Edward Johnson and a sister,
Mozelle Byrd.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Pruett and wife, Elaine of Rock Hill and
Neal Pruett and wife, Brenda of Lexington; daughter, Catherine Price and
husband, Buddy of Shelby; two sisters, Doshia Newton and Muriel McNeilly
both of Morganton; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and
special friend, Hoot Waters.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM, Saturday at Pisgah Baptist Church, Casar

Officiating: Rev. Joe Edwards

Burial: will follow in the church cemetery
