Jacob Bell

    Shelby High Senior Jacob Bell was first runner up in the American Legion Division 5 Oratorical Contest in Hickory on February 15th.  He received a medal and a monetary award.
    Previously, Jacob had won  in competition sponsored by American Legion Post 82 in Shelby and in the District 23 contest in Kings Mountain.  He is the son of Gary and Karen Bell  of  Cleveland County.
