James Bruce Grant, 83, of 10 Hidden Cove Drive in Marion, passed away
Saturday April 22, 2017 at home.

Born September 26, 1933 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late
Straley Franklin Grant and Mildred Leigh Davis Grant. He was retired from
the dye house in textiles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters,
Malinda and Debbie and four brothers.

Survivors include two sons & daughters-in-law, James & Darlene Grant of
Marion and Carl & Linda Grant of Shelby; three daughters & two sons-in-law,
Lisa Bowen of Vale, Peggy & Ronnie Stokes of Lawndale and Joann & Tim
Bolding of Cherryville; seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great
grandchildren.

The visitation will be Monday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Huss officiating.

Burial will follow in the Norman's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
