BESSEMER CITY - Mr. Jarred Joseph Spencer, age 42 passed away at Carolinas Healthcare Pineville on July 11, 2017. He is predeceased by his grandfather, Arthur H. Spencer; grandparents, Edith and Robert Burns; step-brother, David Thogode.
Jarred leaves behind to cherish his memories his father and step-mom, Arthur E. Spencer and Joan Thogode Spencer of Cleveland County, NC; mother and step-father, Cindy Burns Beavers and John Beavers of Dade City, FL; brother, Jeremy Spencer and wife, Norma Bilka Spencer of N.Y. State; half-sister, Joanne Youngs and family of N.Y. State; half-brothers, Justin Fletcher of New York and Josh Fletcher and wife Chantel of Utica, NY; step-brothers and sister, Shannon Beavers of Hallstead, PA, Owen Beavers of Deposit, NY, Joe and Susan Clark of GA, Tammy Thogode of FL, Chris Thogode and family of N.Y. State and Cindy Burrell and family of SC; step-niece, Rose Weber of NC; best friend of 21 years, Lonnie Gordon and daughter, Audrey Cole and daughter, Tony; grandmother, Ida Spencer of N.Y. State; numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins; numerous co-workers and friends of N.Y. State and NC.
Jarred worked as a Manager in Retail for many years. He was a devoted book reader, loved to tell jokes and was a book full of information. He will truly be missed by all who loved and knew him.
A service will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 123 Beaver Dam Church Road, Shelby, NC 28152 with Dr. Jim Richardson officiating. Cemetery Services Following.
