Jay Raymond "Rocky" Proctor, Jr. 57, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away at Wendover Hospice, Shelby, NC on July 6, 2017. Born in Cleveland he was the son of the late Jay Raymond Proctor and Rebecca Plumley. Rocky was a God loving man who also loved his family. He was self-educated, loved animals and enjoyed gardening. The family would like to express their since appreciation to the staff of Wendover Hospice and home health nurse Melanie Smith for taking such wonderful care of Rocky.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Sunday, July 9, 2017, 2:00 PM, Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel , with the Rev. Ronald Hawkins officiating.

VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home
