Jennie Erwood Lynn, age 89, resident of White Oak Manor, Kings Mtn. NC died May 20, 2014.  She was born in Cleveland Co, NC to the late Willie Lee Erwood and Gertrude Jones Erwood.  She was also preceded in death by  her husband of 70 years, J.C. “Bill” Lynn and one sister.   She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and a homemaker. 

SURVIVORS: Daughters: Rebecca “Becky” Nash and husband Thomas, Bessemer City, NC;  Barbara Starnes and husband Don, Kings Mtn. NC; Son: Pete Lynn and wife Nina, York, SC; Sister: Jane Martin, Kings Mtn. NC; 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchild.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Thursday, May 22, 2014, 11:00 A.M.  Rev. Ron Caulder, officiating.

VISITATION: 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. Thursday, May 22, 2014 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain, North Carolina   

INTERMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain, North Carolina
