Jerry Lawrence Ross, age 67, died Monday, March 12, 2018 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Cleveland. Born in Cleveland County on December 8, 1950, he was the son of the late Lawrence Henry and Ruby Jane Camp Ross. Jerry was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church. He worked for Celanese Corporation, in Spartanburg for 10 years in the maintenance department. Jerry enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and cooking, but his joy in life was his grandchildren. Jerry loved to take his grandchildren to Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach and just spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by, a brother, Tommy Ross.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Lois Ayers Ross; a son, Henry Ross and wife Missy of Grover; a daughter, April Lowery and husband Chris of Shelby; a brother, Eddie Ross and wife Gail of Shelby; a sister, Joyce Grigg of Shelby; 7 grandchildren, Sadie Ross, Dylan Lowery, Tyler Ross, Raven Fite, Dover Lowery, Cristina Lowery, and Carter Ross.

Memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Grover with Rev. Andrew Corley officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
