Jerry Lee Riddle, age 75, died Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Atrium Health-Cleveland. Born in Mitchell County of October 1, 1943 he was the son of the late Nimpson Riddle and Betty Jane Holifield Riddle. Jerry was a member Patterson Springs Baptist Church where he served as a former deacon, and current choir member and Sunday school teacher. He was a graduate of Cleveland Technical College with a degree in Industrial Safety. He worked for 17 years at Fiber Industries and after leaving spent another 27 years with Stouffer's Industries. Jerry was also a former member of the Number 3 Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Dennis Riddle.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ramona Fox Riddle of Grover one son Jerry Alan Riddle of Grover, Jackie Weeks-Starkey and husband Joe of Gaffney, SC, as well as five grandchildren, and 16 nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held 2 pm Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Waters officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 pm until 2 pm.
