Jimmie Anderson Phillips, age 81 of Requa Rd., Cherryville, NC, passed away on April 30, 2016 at Carolinas Healthcare System - Cleveland. He was born on May 30, 1934. Jimmie was retired from Carolina Freight as a long line driver. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Marie McClain Phillips; daughters, Lori McSwain and husband, Scott of Cherryville, Roxanne Mosteller and husband, Greg of Vale, and Robyn Rhyne of Crouse; stepson, Scotty Anthony of Bessemer City; and grandchildren, Baylee McSwain, Braiden Mosteller, Scotty Anthony, Jr., and Wesley Anthony.
Funeral services will be private.
