Judy Ellen Sanders Schoolcraft, 79, of Gettys Road, Ellenboro, passed away
Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Carolinas HealthCare System - Cleveland in Shelby.

She was born on March 5, 1937, in Lorain County, OH, to Alberta McIntire
Sanders of Elyria, OH and the late Melvin Sanders. She was retired from
Cleveland Regional Medical Center in the Business Office and was a member of
First Methodist Church Elyria, OH.

In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband of sixty years,
Fredric Ferrell Schoolcraft; son, Richard Schoolcraft of Polkville; two
daughters, Mary Chenoweth of Elyria, OH and Jean Thomas of Ellenboro, NC;
and three sisters, Patricia Safran of Sefner, FL, Carol Robertson of
Franklin, NC, and Susie Sanders of Larain, OH; eight grandchildren; and 9
great grandchildren.

The family will receive friend from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Wednesday, at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston. Condolences may be made online at

The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, at Big Springs
Baptist Church, Ellenboro with the Rev. Paul Scott officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
