Karen Jones Keeter, age 46, of Ellenboro, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Born July 22, 1970 in Rutherford County, she is the daughter of Druary Jones and Frances Martin Jones who reside in Ellenboro. Karen was a certified EMT and worked for the Rutherford County Emergency Services Rescue Squad. She also was a volunteer at the Ellenboro Fire Department. Karen was a member of Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church and loved her family dearly. She was always there to help anyone who was in need.
She was preceded in death by her Godfather, John A. Edwards.
In addition to her parents, survivors include two sons, Jamie Blackwell and wife, Anna of Ellenboro and Braxton Albrecht of the home; three daughters, Cheyenne Albrecht and Sabrina Keeter both of the home and Amber Keeter of Rutherfordton; three brothers, Scott Jones of Ellenboro, Keith Jones and wife, Leisa of Harris and Mike Jones and wife, Deanna of Mooresboro; one sister, Kay Roland of Ellenboro and a grandson, Dalton Blackwell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at the Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church with Reverend Gene Crain officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
