Kathryn Holtzclaw Criswell

Kathryn Holtzclaw Criswell, age 58, of Heritage Ridge Court, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Charleston, SC. She was born on April 26, 1955 in Cleveland County to Ms. Elizabeth Holtzclaw Fortenberry of Waco. Kathy was a member of First Baptist Church in Cherryville and was employed by NC Department of Corrections.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Florence Holtzclaw.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Doyle Allen Criswell of Dallas; sons, Andy Eaker of Durham and Devin Eaker of Dallas; daughter, Emily Eaker Beam and husband, Turner of Cherryville; granddaughter, Eden Beam of Cherryville; step-son, Daniel Bradley Criswell of Belmont; step-grandson, Meyer Criswell; uncle, Manley Holtzclaw and wife, Janet of Cherryville; aunt, Ponese Holtzclaw of Cherryville; and father of her children, Barry Eaker.
A memorial service will held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 4:00 PM at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
