Mr. Larry Dean Adams, 55, of 144 Mt. Zion Church Road, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

Larry was born on February 13, 1959 in Cleveland County, NC a son of the late John W. Adams and Amanda Josephine Allen Adams.  He was formerly employed by Lawing Well Drilling in Charlotte and most recently worked part time at Moss Lawn and Garden in Cherryville.  Larry was a member and past Chancellor and Commander of Randy Huffman Memorial Lodge Knights of the Pythias.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Linda Hartman Adams and two brothers, Dan and William David Adams. 

Survivors include two sisters, Sue Adams Campbell of Cherryville and Kay Adams Barnette of Shelby; two brothers Wayne Adams of Shelby and Jack Adams of Forest City; also surviving are a number of neices and nephews.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 5:30PM at Randy Huffman Memorial Lodge, Knights of the Pythias, 125 Fish Camp Road, Cherryville, NC 28021. 

Burial will be Private.
