On Saturday, June 20th, Vacation Bible School was an all day event at Lawndale United Methodist Church. All the kids shared in this year's "Camp Discovery" lessons, as well as making many craft items. It was a great day for the students and teachers. The Discovery Camp's theme was "Jesus At Work Through Us". Summer is the time that many churches host Vacation Bible Schools throughout Cleveland County, and the kids who attend them receive more than just a playtime experience. We would like to recognize and thank all the many volunteers that help teach kids at the Bible Schools. Pictured right are a few of the children and teachers that participated at Lawndale UMC's special day.
