Linda Diane Hendrick Black, 72, of Dick Spangler Road, Shelby, passed away
Monday, October 9, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.

Born in Cleveland County, on February 27, 1945, she was the daughter of
Alfred Dixon "A.D." Hendrick and Dora Mae Whitaker Hendrick. She was
retired from Wells Fargo and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church
where she played the organ for over twenty years.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Wray Larry Black; son and
daughter-in-law, Chris and Angela Black of Shelby; daughter and son-in-law;
Kim and Tommy Minowicz of Shelby; brother, Lewis Dixon Hendrick of Shelby;
three grandchildren, Katie Minowicz, Zach Minowicz, and Emily Black.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at
Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove
Baptist Church with the Dr. Tony Fulbright officiating.

The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
