Lisa Dawn Goode Moody, age 53 of East Hwy 27, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at CMC Lincolnton Hospital.  She was born on July 6, 1961 in Lincoln County to Lillian Frances Abernathy Goode of Iron Station and the late James Allen Goode.  She loved her family and enjoyed playing games on Facebook and connecting with friends and family.  She loved to watch Investigation Discovery channel and take trips to the mountains.

 

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Allen Goode.

 

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband, Bobby Webb Moody; daughters, Elizabeth Ashley Moody (Anthony Esposito) and Kimberly Dawn Moody (Scott Walden) both of Iron Station; step-son, Bobby Allan Moody (Jennifer Day) of Hickory; sister, Barbara Brackett of Lincolnton; brothers, Ronnie Abernathy (Diane) and Michael Goode both of Cherryville, and Jamie Goode of Iron Station; and five grandchildren, Robbie, Lucas, Cooper, A.J., and Lily.

 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 4:30 PM at Carpenter’s Funeral & Cremation Services with Rev. Wayne Key officiating.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:15 PM at the funeral home.
