Lois Blackwell Bolt, age 87, resident of Kings Mountain, NC entered the Gate of Heaven to be with her Lord on June 3, 2016 at the Jack and Shirley Robbins Hospice and Palliative Care, Hudson, NC. She was born in Cherokee Co. SC to the late Alfred and Carrie White Blackwell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bolt; son, Ricky Dean Bolt; brother, Woodrow Blackwell; sisters, Jessie Spencer and Annie Mayberry. Mrs. Bolt was retired from the textile industry, having worked for Osage Mills, Bessemer City, NC and Patrick Yarns, Kings Mtn. NC. She was of the Freewill Baptist Faith and recently attended Gospel Truth Ministries, Lenoir, NC. She was a member of the Faith Trio Gospel Singing Group, singing on radio, television and many churches in the region. She was always so cheerful and funny, enjoying making everyone smile and laugh. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who loved her family with all of her heart. The family would like to extend great appreciation to the Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care for going above and beyond with love and care.

17 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 18 Great Great Grandchildren.

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
