Marjorie Mae Sisk Lemons

Mrs. Marjorie Mae Sisk Lemons, 85 of Shelby, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at White Oak Manor in Shelby.
She is survived by her daughter, Terrie Gibson and husband David of Shelby, NC, a son-in-law, Steve Gibson of Mauldin, SC, four grandchildren, Matthew Gibson and wife Leah of Shelby, NC, Adam Gibson and wife Heather of Pinehurst, NC, Rebecca McNair and husband Ian of Charlottesville, VA, and Randy Gibson of Mauldin, SC, six great grandchildren, Kessa Gibson, Noah Gibson, Olivia Gibson, Logan Gibson, Ellie Gibson, and Harper Gibson, two brothers, Jimmy Sisk of Shelby, NC and Danny Sisk and wife Sharon of Wilmington, NC, four sisters, Sarah Elam and husband Ben of Shelby, NC, Carolyn Morrow and husband Archie of Shelby, NC, Vickie Morrison and husband Steve of Boiling Springs, NC, and Janet Clontz and husband Jerry of Shelby, NC, a sister-in-law, Janet Sisk of Shelby, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born October 16, 1931 in Cleveland County, Mrs. Lemons was the daughter of the late William Daniel and Maude Drewery Sisk and was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Floyd Hulan Lemons, a daughter, Debbie Lynn Lemons Gibson, and a brother, Ronnie Sisk.
Marjorie was a faithful member of Dover Baptist Church. She worked and retired as a cafeteria manager at Marion Elementary School in Shelby. Marjorie enjoyed gardening and traveling in her earlier years. Mrs. Lemons was a loving mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.
Funeral Services will be held 4:00 pm Friday, May 26, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
