Marlene Davis Bridges, 70, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  Born in Cleveland County she was the daughter of the late Ralph Joseph and Ruth Aileen Hastings Davis.  Marlene was a friend to many and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed deeply by her family and friends. 

Marlene is survived by her daughters, Kelly Senter Turner and husband Michael and Shelley Senter Richardson and husband Tim, all of Shelby; grandchildren, Alec, Megan, Alyssa, Mackenzie, Logan, Jayce, Blayne; and great granddaughter, Paisleigh. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, January 10, 2014 at the Chapel of Cecil M Burton Funeral Home and Crematory.  Burial will follow the service in Sunset Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:30pm in the Carriage Room of Cecil M Burton Funeral Home and Crematory prior to the service.
