Mary Alice Lynch Benton, 74, of 120 Deviney Street, Casar, passed away Friday September 26, 2014 at Carolina Continue Care Hospital in Kings Mountain.
She was born in Jasper County, Georgia on May 9, 1940, to the late Dixon Fleetwood Lynch, Sr., and Evis Pearson Lynch. She was a homemaker and was a Methodist by faith. Hobbies include traveling and taking care of her family.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years Paul Leslie Benton, sons; Bobby Benton of Rutherford, and Brian Benton of Casar; daughter Donna Short and husband Neal of Casar; grandchildren, Aaron Short, Ryan Short, Brandy Benton, Dustin Benton, and Cheyenne Benton; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
All services will be private.
