Maude “Maudie” Tesseneer Allison



Maude “Maudie” Tesseneer Allison, 81, died Thursday, Mar. 6, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.  A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Faye and Addie Horn Tesseneer.  She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church. 

SURVIVED:  She is survived by her loving husband of 46 ½ years, Paul Allison; son, James Crossley, both of Shelby; daughter Rita Beason and husband Don of Mooresboro; three sisters, Laura Biggerstaff of Forest City, Doris Champion of Shelby, and Irene Water of Forest City; brother, John Tesseneer and wife Kim of Grover; four grandchildren, David, James, Rachel, and Heather; and four great-grandchildren, Skyler, Hendrix, Layla, and Mason.

SERVICES:  Monday, 3PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION:  The family will receive friends Sunday, 7-8:30PM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home.

BURIAL: Clingman Memorial Gardens, Blacksburg
