Max Lee Turner, Sr.

Max Lee Turner, Sr., 85, of 2063 Fallston Rd, Shelby, passed away on Sunday,
January 15, 2017 at his home.

He was born in Cleveland County on November 22, 1931, to the late John
Martin Turner and Flossie Hoyle Turner. He was retired from Celanese
Corporation and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents Max is preceded in death by his daughter, Risa
Brewer; grandson, John Turner; granddaughter, Caitlin Turner; and brother,
J.W. Turner.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Cornelia "Connie" Reese
Hoyle Turner; three sons, Max Lee Turner, Jr and wife Tonie, Benjamin Hoyle
Turner and wife Debra, and Jonathan Allen Turner and wife, Lynn; brother,
Charles Edward Turner; grandchildren, Brandy Turner and husband Parker, Josh
Morris and wife, Kelly, Jeremy Morris and wife Amanda, Austin Turner and
wife, Katie, Marissa Turner, and Nathan Turner, Becca Turner; great
grandchildren, Keelee Jones, Bailee Jones, Kinslee Jones, Cade Turner, Eva
Turner, Makenley Turner and Grace Turner, Turner Morris, Yates Morris, and
Micah Turner; great-great-grandchildren, Paislee Jones, Peyton Dobbins, and
Laken Murray.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday immediately following the service
at Northside Baptist Church.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Northside Baptist
Church with the Revs. Neal Efird and Stan Webb officiating.

A private burial will be in the Rose Hill Memorial Park.
