Michael Stephen Smith
Michael Stephen Smith, 62, of 310 Tot Dellinger Road Cherryville, NC, died February 24, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center, Shelby, NC. Born in Shelby, he is a son of the late Thurmond "Pete" and Doris Jean Moss Smith.
Michael is survived by a sister, Susan Elliott and husband, Jackie, of Blacksburg, SC; a brother, David Smith and wife, Tammy, of Hickory Grove, SC; and a nephew, Jeremy Martin, of Blacksburg. SC.
A Celebration of Life Service was held at Mt. Paran Baptist Church Cemetery, Blacksburg, SC, at 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 26,2012 with Rev. Dean Smith officiating. The family is at their respective homes.
