Shelby, Minister Geraldine Spikes, age 68, of Shelby NC went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 22,2015. She was born on March 21,1947 in Cleveland County to the late Walter Bostic and the late Mary Wilson Bostic.
She was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Mary McDowell and Shirley McGill and five brothers; Albert Bostic, J.W. Bostic, Paul Louis Bostic, James Bostic and Norman Bostic.
Left to cherish her fond memories are her daughter Miss Gina Spikes of Tulsa OK, her son Thomas Bostic of Shelby, NC, also three grandchildren, Alicia Solla, Mark Solla and Adrew Solla; three sisters, Betty Nance, Gladys Nelson, and Lois Howell(Wayne) of Shelby NC; three brothers Bobby Gene Bostic of Charlotte NC, Walter Bostic Jr. of Shelby NC and Charles Bostic of Lady Lake Florida and a special friend, Eddie Metz.
Funeral Service:1:00pm, Wednesday, March 25,2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church
Visitation: 30 minutes prior to the funeral services
The family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Gladys Nelson at 211 Southfork Dr., Shelby
