Mrs. Marcella Lee Blansette Parker, age 86 of Lattimore, NC passed away Monday, May 11, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 14, 2015 from 11:30 am - 1:30pm at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A graveside memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Lattimore Baptist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Earl Dean Parker Sr. of the home, two children Earl P. Parker II, of Shelby, NC and Tammy L. Parker, of Mt. Holly NC.

Born October 11, 1928 in Middletown, IN, Mrs. Parker was the daughter of the late Miles and Louise (Brown) Blansett and was preceded in death by three brothers. Mrs. Parker was a faithful member of Lattimore Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir. She also had been a Sunday school teacher for many years and was active in Bible School. She was also President of the Lattimore Elementary School PTA for many years as well as serving as a volunteer for the voting precinct in Lattimore.
