Neighborhood Crime Watch Program
Block Captains, together with Sheriff Alan Norman and Lieutenant Bryan Gordon, gathered around the new Woodlawn Park Community Watch sign. It was the official Neighborhood Watch kick-off in their community. Since the program began there’s already been a drastic reduction in crime in the neighborhood. Don Edwards, Woodlawn Community Watch Director (on right with cane) is pleased with the program and continues to get his neighbors involved. The program is available to every community in Cleveland County, but requires commitment and participation by all citizens. It has proven very successful everywhere it’s in place. Lieutenant Bryan Gordon is in charge of the Neighborhood Watch Program for the Sheriff’s Department. If you would like for your community involved call him at 704-484-4831.
