Paul Douglas Bell, age 60 died Friday, October 17, 2014 at his home. Born in Cleveland County on June 18, 1954 he was the son of Betty Shepard Bell of Kings Mtn. NC and the late Paul Decalv Bell. Doug was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain. He formerly worked at Lowe’s and CA Short. He enjoyed gardening and working in flowers. Doug was preceded in death by his nephew Eric Paul Arledge.

In addition to his mother, Doug is survived by a sister, Sherry Arledge and husband Harold of Brunswick Ga.; nieces and nephews, Aaron Arledge and wife Anglia, Eric, Amelia, and Avery Arledge

Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Kings Mountain with Rev. Aaron Arledge officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in the sanctuary.
