Madeline Pauley, recent high school graduate from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, NC, is the recipient of the first annual Woodmen of the World WOW Chapter 518 Scholarship. She is the daughter of Ed and Deanna Pauley of Shelby, NC. She was presented her award on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the chapter meeting. Madeline was selected by the WOW scholarship committee because of her academic resume and community service. Madeline plans to attend ECU in the fall to study exercise science then pursue a degree in physical therapy.
Scholarships are available to high school graduates who are members of Woodmen of the World who meet academic and civic qualifications.
