Pearl Willis Sigmon

Pearl Willis Sigmon, of 9139 Willis Road, Vale, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Brian Center-Viewmont in Hickory.
Born November 29, 1921 in Lincoln County, she was a daughter of the late Arlandus "Lannie" Willis and Hattie Costner Willis. She was retired from Elliott Hosiery and was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Sigmon; and three brothers, A.R. Willis, Irdell Willis and Dwight Willis.
Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Glenn and Shirley Sigmon of Polkville, Don and Geraldine Sigmon of Connelly Springs, Carol and Sue Sigmon of Vale and Kenneth and Linda Sigmon of Vale; three daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryn and Buren Randall of Vale, Christine and Milton Yancey of Connelly Springs and Kay Marley of Vale; two brothers, L.A. Willis and C.W. Willis both of Vale; four sisters, Muriel Saine of Vale, Ruby Cook of Lawndale, Mae Benfield of Hickory and Nell Yarbro of Vale; fifteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Thursday, Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, Vale
Funeral Service: 3:00 PM, Thursday, at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church, Vale. Officiating: Rev. Cathy Turman
Burial: Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery
