Phyllis Darlene Hedgpeth Sain, age 56, of Dallas Cherryville Highway passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Duke University Hospital. She was born March 27, 1961 in Gaston County to Margie Helen Whitworth Hedgpeth and the late Plato Wesley Hedgpeth. Phyllis was a formerly employed with Hooker Furniture and was a member of Crouse United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, Margie Hedgpeth or Cherryville, she is survived by her loving husband, Randy Sain; and daughter, April Darlene.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Crouse United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Sanders and Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow at City Memorial Cemetery. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 7:30 PM at Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services.
