Randall Wayne Dye
DALLAS - Randall Wayne Dye, 57, born in Akron, Ohio and relocated to Bessemer City, NC, is the son of Orville Blane Dye and Virginia B. Hudson passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Robin Johnson Hospice House. He is predeceased by his father, Orville Blane Dye of Ohio; step-father, Horace Sanders Hudson of Dallas, NC; four brothers, Richard Craig Dye, David Michael Dye, Anthony Allen Dye and John Matthew Dye all of the Dallas, NC home.
Randall, also known as "Paw Paw Randy" who had a big heart and loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman, piddled, wheeled and dealed with cars and motorcycles, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed being around animals-even brought home a few, loved to listen to and sing music and sometimes even make-up his own songs.
Randall is survived by his wife, Karen McDonald Dye of the home; son, Jason Wayne Dye of the home; daughter, Crystal Dye of Bessemer City, NC; grandchildren, Jason Jr., Quienten and Katessia Dye all three of Troutman, NC and Camryn Mead of Bessemer City, NC; mother, Virginia B. Hudson of Dallas, NC; brother, Tracy Blane Dye of Gastonia; sister, Kim and husband James Justice Jr. of Dallas; sister-in-law, Paula Dalton of Kings Mountain, NC; brother-in-law, Wilbur "Willie" Dalton of Kings Mountain, NC; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews.
A 7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at New Life Baptist Church, 614 South 11 Street, Bessemer City, NC 28016 with Pastor Dennis Gomez officiating. A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service.
