Through Friday, November 9th, the Kings Mountain Historical Museum is presenting an interesting exhibit entitled “Reflections from Civil War Soldiers”. Pictured is Dale Wacaster. His great great-grandfather Levi Wacaster fought as a Confederate soldier and was wounded at the battle of Gettysburg. Also enjoying the exhibit was Bonnie Parker. Her great great-grandfather Matthew Parker, from Georgia, was also a Confederate soldier during the war. For any Civil War buff, this is an exhibit not to miss.
The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
