| Robert “Bobby” Waters, age 66, of Rucker Road, Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, September 1, 2014 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born August 28, 1948 in Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Grady Mal Waters and Frances Price Waters. Bobby did textile work most of his life, working for Stonecutter for several years and self-employed for many years. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Survivors include his son, Robert Paul Waters of Gilkey; three sisters, Mildred Parker and husband, Raymond of Spindale, Peggy Morgan and husband, Lloyd of Union Mills and Judy Waters of Rutherfordton; three brothers, Steve Waters and wife, Becky of Forest City, Lee Waters and wife, Doris of Spindale and Don Price of Cross Hill, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2014 at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Leon Brown and Reverend Roger Hudgins officiating. Interment will follow in the Sandy Level Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
