Robert H. “Bob” Cook, age 87, of Mooresboro, NC, died Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born October 13, 1926 in Georgia, he was the son of the late L.C. Cook and Lucille Haggard Cook. He attended the University of North Carolina and also worked in auto sales for many years. Bob enjoyed all genres of music and was a movie enthusiast. He was an unselfish, quiet and gentle man who loved his friends and pets.
He is survived by two dear friends Rebecca A. Carson of Virginia Beach, VA and Emily Woods of Alpena, MI and his pet dog, Blackie.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte with Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating.
Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services is in charges of the funeral arrangements.
